Tony Daniel
Tony has over 25 years of experience in the public sector. Over 16 years of that experience was spent at the manager and executive level. He has worked with high profile agencies and helped develop strategic plans for multi-faceted organizations with annual operating budgets of over $800 million. He has developed processes that radically changed the operating structures of agencies resulting in high levels of efficiency and budgetary savings often challenging the status quo of stifling policies and procedures. He believes that for any agency to maintain a high level of efficiency, it must create a balance between its vision, mission, strategies, and execution.
His strengths lie in applying techniques of process reengineering to outdated processes while offering transformational leadership that facilitates organizational learning throughout all units. His radical thought processes of change challenge old paradigms and thought structures of “we’ve always done it this way.” He is a published author writing articles for several national association magazines concerning cultural and organizational change.
Tony has a B.S. in Social Work from Kennesaw State University, a Master of Public Administration from Jacksonville State University, and will complete his Ph.D. in Leadership and Organizational Change by the end of summer 2009.
Tony is married to Beverly Daniel and they have six children and eight grandchildren.
